The Tank Grip Concept

Body Position and Weight Control are essential, mechanical aspects with not only aggressive/performance riding, but also daily sport and touring.
The fuel tank and your legs are one of the “PRIMARY” anchor points between rider and machine. Better controlling the riders inputs with proper weight and body position will improve performance of the motorcycle and your ride.

The Product

TechSpec’s Gripster Tank Grips: will allow you to better grip the largest anchor point between rider and machine. Griping and driving your leg into the fuel tank will create an anchor point, helping increase support of your overall body and weight. Increasing support of your body and weight position will release pressure off your wrists, elbows, shoulders and lower back. Increasing overall comfort and performance of your ride. Truly a functional product!

The Material

TechSpec's theory of achieving a solid grip is based on material properties and surface area contact. Our products are available in two (2) unique materials: Snake Skin and the new XL2. Each of our materials were created for your riding enhancement.

Snake Skin™ is a thin (.125") tank grip with a low profile diamond pattern. With these rubber padding properties, you will feel a positive grip into your tank and less pressure on your wrists, elbows and shoulders. Excellent product for all riders and uses our personal Clean Release Adhesive.™

C3 is a comfortable gummy rubber measuring @ .100" thin. The C3 Grip Material acts more like a "Pad" offering the Ultimate in Comfort and Grip. The durameter of the Rubber has a soft gummy feel allowing your knees to sink into the material, almost like memory foam. Squeeze your tank and feel what solid seat position is and does for you. Will assist in reduction of vibration, increase in control, and increase in comfort.

High Fusion is a durable, sleek, low profile Synthetic Rubber @ .035 thin. You will feel the difference the minute you throw your leg over and take a seat. Not to be mistaken as a Vinyl or Grip Tape Material. This Synthetic Rubber has a simple look and low profile feel. Squeeze your tank and feel what solid seat position is and does for you. Will assist in reduction of vibration, increase in control, and increase in comfort.
