The TYPE-N wheel was developed with the concept of reproducing the style of classic motorcycles using modern technology. Pursuing an authentic design that matches vintage bikes such as the Z series, it adopts the cross-section spokes popular in those days.
While 5 or 7 spokes were mainstream back then, TYPE-N adopts 6 slender and sharp spokes, aiming for a unique identity. This design strikes an optimal balance between strength and style, achieving both structural rigidity and lightness.
The nostalgic design inspired the name “TYPE-N.” It pairs well with vintage bikes and pursues riding performance with the same lightweight and modern rim shape technology as TYPE-R.
In 2025, a new contrast (black anodized) version was added to expand visual options alongside functional enhancements.
The “Contrast Cut” process involves anodizing the entire wheel and then machining it to expose the bare aluminum surface on the spoke faces, giving a unique look.
