The TYPE-SB1 is the lightest high-end model in the GALE SPEED aluminum forged wheel lineup.

To achieve the lightest weight, we reconsidered the material and adopted super duralumin, which has excellent strength, for the first time in GALE SPEED history. This wheel balances the conflicting requirements of weight reduction and high rigidity. The spoke shape prioritizes machining ease by hollowing out, and by curving them, it provides a solid contact feeling and confidence during acceleration, deceleration, and cornering.

The TYPE-SB1 has proven its reliability by being adopted in world endurance championships (EWC), domestic road races (JSB1000), and other races both in Japan and abroad, often winning podiums. Although it was developed for racing use, the strength is adjusted for street use and it meets the JWL standard, making it available as a commercial product.

This wheel is the same as the product used in demanding sprint races and endurance races, so you can use it on public roads with confidence.
