As the name suggests, it features an X (cross) mesh spoke design. It prioritizes strength, considering use on unpaved roads. With tubeless tires, you can confidently enjoy long-distance rides.

The TYPE-X, designed for agile running on the CT125 Hunter Cub, is GALE SPEED’s first forged aluminum wheel for cross-country use. It packs numerous details into the required performance, strength, and styling.

Its biggest feature is the high strength provided by the X (cross) mesh spoke design. Especially strong against radial loads, it effectively absorbs impacts. The rim flange, reminiscent of beadlock wheels, balances strength and design.

Additionally, unlike the OEM wire spokes, its tubeless design greatly reduces the risk of punctures and maintenance effort. It will be a reliable companion, especially for touring use.

The rim width is widened to 1.85 inches, optimal for standard tire sizes (standard is 1.60 inches). Despite prioritizing strength, the weight is reduced by approximately 0.7kg front and rear. The sharp handling and stability unique to forged wheels elevate the overall riding quality.
