The rear brake is operated with the thumb of the left hand. It allows
you to operate the rear brake when you are leaning deeply on the right
side and the foot brake cannot be used. It controls delicate movements
that are difficult to do with the foot, such as traction control, grip
recovery, and stabilization of behavior.
