Swage-Line brake hoses have a lower expansion rate than OEM brake hoses, transmitting force from the master cylinder to the caliper more efficiently. This allows for a direct brake touch. In terms of quality, they use the same permanent connection (crimping method) as OEM hoses, ensuring high reliability and peace of mind.
Swage-Line brake hoses have passed rigorous testing based on JIS standards and are sold as inspection-compliant. However, in 2006, the standards for securing the middle section of brake lines became more stringent, raising the possibility that vehicles secured with tie wraps or other fasteners might not be able to pass inspection. Proto Swage-Line responded quickly to this legal change by developing a brake hose that does not use tie wraps or other fasteners and is even more reliable and compliant with the new safety standards. (Excluding some vehicle models)
